"I can't thank you enough for the kindness which you have shown towards me this week. With all my very best wishes." ~ Don McCullin

"I was fortunate enough to do this street photography workshop in Blackpool and all I can say is, WOW, what a wonderful experience. Jeff and Sarah were extremely hospitable, as well as very open and honest about their approach to photography. I have come away with a new insight into street photography and feel extremely motivated to go out and implement some of the new ideas I've taken away from my excellent day with them. If you ever get the chance to attend one of their workshops, I would very highly recommend it and you'll almost certainly see me there too, as I will most definitely be signing up again. Lastly, I had a four and a half hour trip each way from Bath to attend the Blackpool workshop, but I would do it again in a heartbeat as it was an outstanding 10/10 experience."
We all know it can be intimidating putting your pictures up for critique but if it’s done properly, having another photographer take a look at your work can be one of the most positive experiences you can have. There should be nothing intimidating about having a discussion on photography. We believe that a fresh set of eyes can often see something that you may have missed and our number one aim is to help you to become a better photographer, so let Jeff take an in-depth look at your work and offer some positive and constructive thoughts.
A two hour critique via Skype is just £200 and judging by some of the photographers we have helped in the past, this may be the best £200 you spend on your photography.
“I have been fortunate enough to receive Jeff’s input on a yearly basis and through each [online] critique and in relation to my growing level of understanding, Jeff has been able to coach and direct me on my camera technique and control within different environments and situations, my position as a photographer in relation to the subject, my post production and my ability to see and construct a potential photograph...the quality of my work has exceeded the ceiling that I thought that I was capable of, and this is directly attributed to the input that I have received from Jeff.”
A practical, down to earth, and enjoyable day learning to shoot, scan, post process and print film images. It is ideal for the digital photographer who has never shot film before, or newcomers into photography wanting to dip their toe into the medium.
We use a hybrid analog capture/digital process and print method in our work which gives us the best of both worlds. Gorgeous film images but with the conveniance and quality of digital output.
This day is for individuals only and we will spend time out in the field shooting as well as in our office learning to scan negatives correctly, post processing the images and printing the pictures.
The cost of the day is £350
